Everton and Alisher Usmanov strike £30m stadium naming rights deal

Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov has boosted his relationship with Everton FC by paying £30million upfront to seal a deal for an exclusive option on naming rights for the club's new stadium. It can be recalled that Usmanov sold his shares at Arsenal for a reported £550m in the summer of 2018 and is a long term partner of Everton majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri. Usmanov's holding company USM already sponsors the club's Finch Farm training ground and the Russian tycoon has now invested more money with an agreement in place for the naming rights of the proposed Bramley-Moore Duck which is set to be completed in 2023. Everton set to appoint Marco Silva as manager

  Everton have moved closer to appointing Marco Silva as new manager according to emerging reports. Silva has been continuously linked with taking over at the vacant managerial helm at Goodison Park since the departure of Sam Allardyce.
