Man United confident of not cutting player wages

Manchester United are under no pressure to cut the wages of players despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Although major football competitions have been suspended, United believe they are in good financial standing to not ask players to defer part of their salaries. However, they admit that the situation is fluid and will be monitored. The Old Trafford outfit has 25 global sponsorship partners including Adidas, Chevrolet, Kohler, and AON, with a series of regional partners that generate at least £200m in income every season.
