Ronaldo trial set for January 21

A Spanish court has said that former Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo will face trial for tax fraud on January 21, 2019. The Portuguese star is expected to plead guilty after which he will be handed a suspended two-year sentence, in conformance with a deal he struck with Spain's state prosecutor, as well as the tax authorities this year.
