It could be a while before we see some Serie A action going by recent events. Fiorentina have announced that 6 of their staff have tested positive for coronavirus. As of Thursday evening, Italy have announced over 215,000 positive cases of the virus with at least 30,000 losing their lives. It can be recalled that the Serie A has been suspended for close to two months due to the pandemic. Regardless, all the clubs in the league have voted in support of the completion of the remaining fixtures in the 2019/20 season with training sessions approved this week as there has been a drop in new cases of the virus in the country.
