Inter in talks to sign Hertha Berlin forward

Inter Milan have begun negotiations with Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin for the acquisition of versatile forward Matheus Cunha based on a report by Gianluca Di Marzio. Cunha has been massive for Hertha Berlin since arriving from RB Leipzig at the beginning of the year and could be set to leave after spending just six months at the club. The 21-year-old was a highly rated prospect in his time at RB Leipzig but opted for a winter move in January in a bid to get more playing time. Jurgen Klinsmann steps down as head coach of Hertha Berlin

Jurgen Klinsmann has abandoned his role as head coach of Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin and will resume his position on the club's supervisory board. It can be recalled that the former Bayern Munich, Germany, and USA coach assumed the role after the dismissal of Ante Covic. Klinsmann, 55, oversaw just 10 games in charge including one in the DFB Cup round of 16. He won 3 and lost 4, as the results took the club from being level on points in the relegation playoff with Fortuna Dusseldorf to 6 points clear of 16th place. Hertha Berlin sign Ascacibar from Stuttgart

German Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin have signed Argentine midfielder Santiago Ascacibar from Bundesliga 2 side Stuttgart. According to the club on Wednesday, the 22-year-old defensive midfielder signed a long-term deal and will join the squad in a training camp in Orlando, Florida.
