Reports emerging indicate that the world’s footballing body FIFA has launched an investigation into Paul Pogba’s record transfer from Juventus to Manchester United. According to reports in France, the FIFA spokesperson disclosed that Its Transfer Matching System “has been requesting information on this matter,”

However, it’s still unclear what facet of the Pogba’s £89 million the football body is investigating. Some news sources revealed that it could be Mino Raiola’s involvement in the transfer dealing as he is reported to have pocketed £41 million from the deal.

The investigation is coming on the heels of the book, “Football Leaks: The Dirty Business of Football” which affirms to have a revelation of the details of Pogba’s deal with Raiola’s cut inclusive. The book will soon be published in Germany.
A United spokesperson revealed that the club makes no comments on individual contracts, although Man United officials are confident that everything will be cleared up and found to be in order.

The Frenchman Paul Pogba made his return to Manchester United for a world record breaking fee before the commencement of the season from where he left to Juventus a few years ago and has established himself as a key man for the side.He returned from injury last week to help Man United see out a 1 nil victory against Celta Vigo in the Europa league.

He was rested for last weekend’s games against Arsenal and is expected to be in line for Man United’s welcome of Celta Vigo to Old Trafford for the second leg of their Europa League semi-final encounter,  a competition Jose Mourinho’s men might need to win to make it to next season’s UEFA Champions League.
