Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have tabled a bid of £39million to Napoli for the services of center-back Kalidou Koulibaly to partner new signing Dayot Upamecano in the center of the Bavarian defense. The Napoli center-back has also been linked with the two Manchester outfits in England and has established himself as one of the most coveted defenders in Europe. Kalidou Koulibaly, 29, has made it into the Serie A team of the year for four consecutive seasons, won the best defender in Serie A award, and also won the Coppa Italia with Napoli in 271 games for the club. Former Barca president Bartomeu, others arrested on corruption charges

According to reports, former Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu is among those that were arrested on Monday morning during a raid on the club's offices by the Catalan police. This is related to a case known as 'Barcagate' in which the club supposedly hired a third company to defame their rivals within and outside the club in the media. Catalan police force Mossos carried out the raid on the club's facilities on Monday morning and it has been confirmed that the arrests made were related to the case but have not disclosed those who have been detained.
