Bayern Munich enter race to sign Jadon Sancho
Manchester United and Chelsea will face competition from Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich for the signature of Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho. The 19-year-old England international is expected to leave the Signal Iduna Park this summer with two years left on his existing deal at the club.
Reports suggested that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made signing Jadon Sancho a priority when he was appointed as Man United boss but failure to finish in the top four scuppered the deal.
Chelsea, who are Jadon Sancho’s boyhood club have also increased interest in the winger and will be handed significant funds to make a transfer statement after the club’s transfer ban was reduced.
However, according to Metro, interest in the attacker has now gone beyond the Premier League with Bayern Munich emerging as another interested party. It can be recalled that the Bavarians had 4 bids for Callum Hudson-Odoi rejected last January and are still in the market for a wide forward.
Bayern Munich have previously signed the likes of Matt Hummels, Mario Goetze, and Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund in a bid to strengthen their squad.
