Real Madrid are interested in selling midfielder Dani Ceballos this summer and have slapped a €30 million price tag on him according to a report by ABC.
The midfielder who was previously on loan at Arsenal didn’t do much to make him indispensable at the Emirates and thus force them to make the loan deal permanent.
His contract with Real Madrid expires in 2023 but the club are not interested in extending the deal with the likes of AC Milan and Real Betis, reportedly interested in signing the midfielder.
Ceballos will be able to leave Real Madrid for good after plying his trade in the Premier League with Arsenal in the last two seasons. The Spaniard had plans to establish himself and was not interested in another loan deal.
Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if Real Madrid will be able to find suitors to match their asking price for the player as Betis do not have that kind of money whilst Milan are focused on extending Brahimi Diaz’s loan deal.
Therefore, Real Madrid may have no choice but to lower their expectations regarding their valuation of the player and accept a smaller offer they are really keen to offload Ceballos this summer.
