Reports from the German media are suggesting that Germany international Emre Can will not be leaving Liverpool in January. This means that his potential move to Juventus will most likely come to fruition in the summer.
Can has been heavily linked with a move to the Old Ladies, and the speculation was fuelled the more after Juventus’ general manager Guiseppe Marotta revealed that they are interested in acquiring Can’s signature.
His contract will be expiring at the end of the current season and numerous news sources suggested that the move to Juventus would materialize in January with a cut-price fee.
However, Sky Germany reported Marc Behrenbeck has disclosed that the German may remain with the Merseyside outfit until the season comes to a close.
Meanwhile, Can who is yet to sign a new contract at Anfield is free to go into negotiations with other teams from January.
