Olivier Giroud’s move to AC Milan is all but done according to reports in Italy and it’s only a matter of time until the move is announced by the Rossoneri.
Tutto Mercato Web have claimed that Giroud will be in Milan at the weekend with his arrival to the city scheduled for Sunday night.
He will then have his medical on Monday morning and finally put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Serie A side.
However, details about the transfer fee were not disclosed although previous reports have suggested that they will spend around €2m on the move, with bonuses included.
Olivier Giroud’s contract with Chelsea was set to expire this summer but was extended for one year as the Blues decided to trigger a clause.
It appears it was purely business motivated to help them secure some millions from his sale instead of him leaving on a free transfer.
