Juve to go all out for Pep Guardiola in the summer
According to a report from The Sun, Serie A giants Juventus have made Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola their major priority this summer.
The Old Ladies hired Maurizio Sarri last summer but have long been linked with a move for the Spaniard. Juve are currently second in the Serie A and are in danger of missing out on their first league title since the 2010/11 campaign.
Maurizio Sarri has struggled to infuse his Sarri-ball philosophy into the team this season and there have even been suggestions that Max Allegri could return before the end of the season.
However, it has now emerged that the Old Ladies are plotting a sensational swoop for Guardiola and will be willing to give him as much money as he needs to acquire new players.
Meanwhile, Guardiola is currently in his fourth season as Man City coach and the current season has been a disappointing one for the Premier League defending champions.
After back-to-back domestic triumphs, Manchester City sit 22 points behind Liverpool who are in pole position for a Premier League triumph this term. This has resulted in questions about the Spaniard’s future at the end of the season.
