Seattle Sounders attacker Nico Lodeiro has claimed that Luis Suarez is eager to play in the MLS and that a move to the competition will happen in a matter of time.
Lodeiro has played together with Luis Suarez for Uruguay and the former is set to play in the MLS Cup final against Toronto FC on Sunday.
He revealed that the Barcelona striker has always been fascinated by the MLS as he likes what he has seen.
“I think you need to convince Barcelona. He [Suarez] wants to come to MLS,” Lodeiro told MLSsoccer.com. “He is always asking me about the league.

“His dream was to play for Barcelona. He’s playing at a great level and he feels comfortable there.
“Sooner or later he’ll come to MLS. Well hopefully! He likes the league. He’s always asking me things about it. Hopefully, he can also play for Seattle Sounders. It may be a more difficult task.
“I think it’s only a matter of time before he’s out here.”
Meanwhile, Suarez now 32, still has a contract with Barcelona that expires in 2021. He is currently in his sixth season at Camp Nou after joining from Liverpool in 2014.
