Romelu Lukaku will not leave Inter Milan as long as Antonio Conte continues as the manager of the Serie A club.
The Belgian has scored a whopping 25 goals in all competitions this season and has been linked with a summer departure amid reported interests from some of Europe’s heavyweight clubs.
The likes of former club Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester City have been mooted as potential destinations for the towering forward in the summer.
The striker has a contract with Inter Milan until 2024 and the club are readying contract extension talks with a likely salary increase later in the year.
It is believed that Lukaku has a strong relationship with Inter manager Antonio Conte, and this is the key reason why the striker wants to continue with the club.
Therefore, if Conte was to leave Inter Milan at the end of the season, the Belgian may consider his options elsewhere.
Meanwhile, the San Siro outfit who currently top the Serie A table have rejected all interests in their star man and this will continue unless Lukaku explicitly asks to leave.
The player is currently on international duty with Belgium and continues to impress as he scored his 59th goal for Belgium in the 1 all draw against the Czech Republic away from home in the European qualifiers for Qatar 2022. He currently has 59 goals in 91 appearances for Belgium.
In Serie A, his prolific scoring form has helped Inter to move 6 points above local rivals AC Milan. Lukaku has scored 19 goals in the Seria A this season and has provided 7 assists as well as 4 UEFA Champions League goals and 2 goals in the Coppa Italia.
