According to reports, Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku’s agent Federico Pastorello was in Milan on Tuesday to hold talks with Inter Milan as the player continues to be linked with a move to the Nerazzurri.
Pastorello was in Milan to hold a discourse with regards to other clients although the future of the Belgium international is one of the reasons for the visit.
In a chat with newsmen, when asked if Inter Milan had any interest in the acquisition of Romelu Lukaku, Pastorello replied: “Yes, he’s publicly expressed his plans and desires. We’ll see what happens.
“Lukaku is a dream, a difficult one to make happen as such, but I believe nothing is impossible. It’s not impossible and Inter is trying hard.”
The chief executive of the Serie A outfit Beppe Marotta was more circumspect with his response, saying: “It’s early”.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan may not move for Romelu Lukaku until or after June 30 when they are released by UEFA from a Financial Fair Play settlement agreement they reached initially.
