According to The Sun, Leicester City defender Harry Maguire feels that the club are pricing him out of a move to Manchester United and has begun losing patience with the club.
Man United have prioritized Maguire as their top transfer target in the current transfer window but Leicester are insistent on receiving a world-record fee for the defender.
Leicester want Man United to bid higher than the £75m fee Liverpool paid to land Virgil Van Dijk from Southampton. They are holding out for a fee close to £90m.
However, the Old Trafford outfit are not willing to meet Leicester’s valuation of the defender, as they believe that their latest £70m bid is more than enough to land the England international.
Meanwhile, Leicester have a verbal agreement with Maguire that will allow the player to leave the club if a satisfactory bid comes in for his signature.
However, the player now believes that the Foxes are not sticking to their end of the deal. The player played no part in Leicester’s training on Monday due to an illness.
Maguire wants to make the move to Old Trafford as he aims to follow the footsteps of the likes of Steve Bruce and Rio Ferdinand who were his childhood idols.
