PSG’s new Messi wants to join Tuchel at Chelsea

Chelsea may be the dream destination for Paris Saint-Germain wonderkid Kays Ruiz-Atil, who has been described as the French club’s new Lionel Messi.

A report by Foot Mercato suggests that the London club may be working on acquiring the youngster after the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as the new boss.

It is believed that the teenager has had playing time difficult to come by under new PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino and has expressed his desire to play for Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea.

It was the German boss that handed the youngster his first senior team debut at Parc des Princes.

Ruiz-Atil has potentials but his uncertain future at the French club is a concern and a meeting between his representatives and Chelsea may take place soon.

The 18-year-old hasn’t played any game for the senior team since the arrival of Pochettino and his contract is set to expire in July. It is believed that the player will opt for an exit.

Arsenal are also interested in the youngster and have previously failed with an attempt to sign the former Barcelona starlet. Ruiz-Atil knows what he wants with his career and has set the record straight with PSG.

It can be recalled that he hinted at the possibility of taking his talents elsewhere on an Instagram post last season as he disclosed his situation at PSG. The player believed that the club do not feel he is ready for a big challenge and will leave if this is the case.

“If PSG doesn’t want me to train with the pros, there are other clubs. It will not end at PSG,” Ruiz-Atil wrote.

The starlet has been compared to Lionel Mess and seems to have the same playing style as the football legend. Ruiz-Atil is a very good ballhandler who can use both feet and also possesses similar playmaking skills.

Regardless, he is yet to get a goal or an assist for the Ligue 1 outfit this season with 7 appearances to his name thus far.
