Spurs displeased with Mourinho’s public training session with three players
Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has been reminded of his duties by the club after he organized a public fitness session with three of his players, neglecting social distancing guidelines.
The Portuguese manager was pictured on Hadley Common in Barnet on Tuesday alongside Ryan Sessegnon, Tanguy Ndombele, and Davinson Sanchez.
The video footage which was posted on social media showed Sessegnon and Sanchez jogging side by side while Mourinho who was wearing a full Spurs training kit was pictured with Ndombele and two other men, engaging in stretching exercises.
It’s no more news that government advice suggests that all individuals must stand at least two meters apart at all times while outdoor exercises can only be done alongside one person from your own household.
Regardless, the Portuguese manager was addressed by senior officials at the club after they were left unimpressed with his actions. A Spurs spokesperson said:
“All of our players have been reminded to respect social distancing when exercising outdoors.
“We shall continue to reinforce this message.”
