Top African players in the UCL – 2017/18 Match Day 2

 

Some African players covered themselves in glory in the course of the 2017/18 UCL Match day 2 fixtures. There were lots of significant contributions by a good number of African players in the UCL Match Day 2 fixtures in defense, attack and in midfield positions. However, not all of them ended up on the winning sides. The most impressive African players in the UCL Match Day 2 fixtures are listed below:

Ivorian defender Eric Bailly was in defence as Manchester United hammered CSKA Moscow 4:1 in Russia

Borussia Dortmund lost again but Gabon international Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored on the night to at least salvage a relatively decent score line for his side against Real Madrid at the Signal Iduna Park.
