According to reports, Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are preparing a £60m bid for Manchester United shot-stopper David de Gea as his contract renewal talks with the Old Trafford outfit continues to linger.
PSG are reportedly prepared to meet the goalie’s demand of £350,000-a-week in order to entice him to the Parc des Princes.
David de Gea currently has just 1 year left in his current United deal and could opt for adventures elsewhere, thereby forcing the club to cash in on him rather than let him go for free when his contract expires.
It’s no more news that the Spain international has struggled this season, and more so since new gaffer, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed as United boss.
Regardless, Da Gea has not covered himself in glory in recent weeks and his struggles were seen in the 2 nil defeat to Manchester City at Old Trafford in the Manchester derby.
Alarmingly, David De Gea has not kept a clean sheet in his last 12 games and has managed to garner just 7 clean sheets this season.
The Spaniard will yet again be called to action when the Red Devils welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.
